Salty Cowboy Ranch- the paradise in Bali

Unfortunately, sometimes people get into situations where they can no longer care for their horses. Unfortunately, many horses are then neglected, which is why Simone (Founder of Salty Cowboy) decided to convert her stable, which she built in Bali in 2018, to help exactly these horses.

The trainers of the ranch buy these horses and pamper them. They are trained with a lot of calmness and patience. When the horses are ready, a great 'Forever Home' will be found for them to make room for more rescues. Until then, the horses are used to do ground/under saddle training sessions in horsemanship or beach rides with visitors, which are fun for both parties. Often, unfortunately, tourist ranches don't treat their horses very well and are only out to make a profit. At Salty Cowboy Ranch, animal welfare is paramount and thus can be visited with a clear conscience.

Since they only use horses when they are actually ready and they are not used too often in one day, they do not make enough money through tourism to maintain the horses. Especially because many of them need special treatments when they come to the ranch. That is why they rely on donations. We are happy to support you and hope that they can help many more great horses.
